Abstract:
Joined by both economists and theologians, this half-day discussion will focus on the ethical side of some of the most pressing economic issues facing Hong Kong today. The relevant policies will also be discussed from the Christian perspective.

Topics include Protection of Elderly People, Minimum Wage Legislation, Housing Issues in Hong Kong, Globalization--Trade and Investment, and Immigration. Speakers include Prof. Liu Pak-Wai (CUHK), Dr. Charles Leung (CityU), Prof. Sung Yun-Wing (CUHK), Prof. Francis Lui (HKUST), Prof. Joanna Lam (HKBU), and Prof. Y.C. Richard Wong (HKU).
