Professor Li is currently Professor of Economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as well as Deputy Director General of the Institute of Finance and Trade. He obtained his B.A. in political economics from Anhui University, M.A. in money and banking from Fudan University, and Ph.D. in public finance from Renmin University of China. He is a member of the Chinese Financial Market Development Committee of the Pacific Economic Corporate Committee (PECC), Academic Committee of China Society of Finance and Banking, and Executive Committee of China Society of Public Finance.
